OUR HISTORY
Our flagship store was established in 2010 on Stony Point Road in the Roseland district of Santa Rosa, California. Since our start, Fruta has strategically expanded its presence to encompass four distinguished locations across Sonoma County. Following two prosperous years at our Stony Point flagship, we strategically expanded operations by inaugurating our production kitchen and second location in Petaluma, California.
In 2014, Fruta further solidified its market presence with the opening of our third establishment in the Rincon Valley neighborhood of Santa Rosa. Our ongoing commitment to growth led to the establishment of our fourth and most recent location, opened in 2018 within the Rosewood Village Shopping Center, perfectly positioned at the intersection of Marlow Road and Piner Road in Santa Rosa, CA.
As we maintain our commitment to growth, be on the lookout for new locations in 2024 and 2025!

At Fruta, we're passionate about crafting naturally flavored ice cream that's as pure as it gets. Our commitment to using all-natural ingredients means you won't find any preservatives, additives, or artificial flavors in our products. We don't use the powdered flavoring that you might find at other shops, our team produces our flavors using specific processes with real fresh ingredients.
With over 40 original flavors of ice cream and over 50 flavors of Paletas inspired by family recipes, our stores offer a broad range of ice creams, yogurts, and sorbets to suit every taste.
In our production kitchen located in the dairy capital of Sonoma County, Petaluma, California, our team churns out fresh batches daily, using only the finest quality cream and ingredients. We go the extra mile to source the highest quality fruits from around the globe and close to home, ensuring that every scoop bursts with fresh, vibrant flavor.
When it comes to our fruit bars and ice cream bars, freshness is always the name of the game. Our beloved pico de gallo bar, featuring a zesty blend of mango, cucumber, jicama, orange juice, salt, and chili powder, is just one example of the mouthwatering creations you'll find at Fruta.

Items such as Bionicos, Mangonadas, Fruit Cocktails and Smoothies are some of our most popular items! We go above and beyond to ensure these items are made with the highest quality fruits available. Other speciality items we offer include the Piña Loca, Tostilocos, Esquites and many more!
